PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

Cabin on 50 acres bordering state forest in Orange NY. Nicely outfitted cabin consists of 2 bedrooms, propane refrigerator, oven range, microwave, generator, wood stove, and an attached open porch. Includes multiple storage sheds. Very remote and is bordered on three sides by Goundry State Forest WMU 8W.  The acreage is mostly level around the cabin and slopes downhill towards Goundry Hill Road.  There are several ATV trails throughout the property for ease of access.  The majority of the property is comprised of oak trees offering a food source for wildlife.  Not far from the cabin is a clearing for a food plot.  This property has been used for whitetail deer hunting, and there are a few tree stands included.  Additionally, there is a tractor with implements to maintain the property.  The outbuildings include an enclosed generator tool shed, outhouse, tractor shed, woodshed, and an ATV-lawnmower shed. Level mowed yard around the cabin that has apple and cherry trees planted for wildlife. Landowners with 50 acres or more qualify for the NYS Landowners preference for DMP Tags. Goundry Hill State Forest offers an additional 2,100 acres of public land for hunting and recreation.
